William Few
William Few Jr. was born in Maryland in 1748. His parents were William Few Sr. and Mary Wheeler. He and Abraham Baldwin were two of the four delegates of Georgia that signed the Constitution. He served 4 years as a U.S. Senator, 1 term as a state representative, and he also was a Judge of the Second Judicial District in Georgia for 3 years. He was an outspoken opponent of the Yazoo Land Fraud. He moved to Ney York City in 1799. He was a member of the New York Legislature for 4 years. He was also an officer in the Manhattan Bank and a President of City Bank. William and his wife, Catherine Nicholson, had three daughters. He died on July 17, 1828. His remains were moved from New York to St. Paul's Cemetery in Augusta, Georgia.
